Obama's speech in Philadelphia

I thought he gave an honest and searchingly reflective speech in Philly today. Will it help him? A lot depends on the disposition or the predisposition of the ears in which it lands. I don't think you can name a politician who made a stronger effort to reach out to a wide range of people in terms that are both candid and credible, not to mention uplifting.
