Postcards

.Just twenty minutes from Bordeaux is St. Emilion which in addition to being a picturesque village is also where some of the most well known wine producers are headquartered.

Limeuil, Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Tursac, St. Leone ... the river valleys in the Dordogne are necklaced with villages tucked in against the rock cliffs.

At every turn there are things large and small that merit a more than just a glance.

Colm ("dove" in Irish) is "colombe" in French. There's a town on the way to Dordogne called St. Colombe. This photo was taken in Sarlat however.

You must go around looking awestruck all the time. The photos are of places I imagine when reading fairy tales. Side note-I'm back in Oregon now!
