Doing Picasso at the Lapin Agile, part 2...show times

The show times for the three productions of Picasso at the Lapin Agile by the Loop Hole Stage Players have been set. All three shows take place at the Mackenzie Theater on the campus of Eastern Oregon University.
Here are the times:
Saturday, May 16 at 8:00 pm
Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 pm
Monday, May 18 at 8:00 pm

Please pass this info on to friends and acquaintances.

Note the Sunday matinee. There are efforts underway to host some sort of public forum on the controversy sparked by our efforts to do this play. The purpose of the forum will be to advance and improve the community discussion of the role of art in education. Such a forum, if it occurs will take place after the matinee performance of the play. It is my very earnest desire to see folks from all sides of this issue in the theater so that everyone can at least have a shared experience to reflect upon.

People seeking info on how to reserve seats for a performance should contact:
Linda Jerofke, Eastern Oregon University, 1 University Blvd., Ackerman Hall, La Grande 97850.

Thanks for the update, Kevin. I hope some of the loyal opposition take up the offer to discuss the play and/or drama in the schools
after the matinee performance, including Mr. and Mrs. Jackman, past superintendent Fulton, board members and others who were at the town meeting. That may not be something they choose to do on a Sunday so some outreach might be appropriate before scheduling a forum Sunday afternoon as opposed to Saturday night, for instance.
Neither may be acceptable, one for the day, the other for lateness; but the offer might be a good idea.

Sorry to hear about the problems you came home to, but it looks like you had a great spring break. I thought we all did a very good job of behaving--without hall monitors--not talking amongst ourselves or abusing your blog while you were gone! It was tempting to relay to Mr Scott that COD sounds fascinating, etc., and have a big blogblabfest in your home room while you were gone, but we are grown-ups, after all, even if some of us are too technically challenged/lazy to create our own. Welcome back and thanks for the update on the play.
